Memory Café

Memory cafés were developed to provide a "safe haven" for those with memory loss. The café welcomes those with memory loss, their friends, family or caregivers to gather together in a social environment where memory loss is expected… and accepted. Memory cafes typically offer refreshments, music, activities, camaraderie and lively discussion.

The café is facilitated by community volunteers and a gerontology professional. Good Shepherd offers a memory café the 2nd Thursday of every month in the Good Shepherd Community Center from 2:00-3:30 p.m. (no reservations are needed)
